The Applied Econometrics coursework is composed of two parts. In both parts, students will be asked to answer practical questions using Stata. Students will be required to:
(i) Perform a quantitative analysis using the data sets provided.
(ii) Interpret the results of the estimates.
(iii) Submit the Stata code written to perform the empirical analysis.
Word Limit: The word limit is 2,000 words. Figures do not count towards the word limit. Copying and pasting Stata output, besides figures, is not acceptable.
Appendix: An Appendix should be attached at the end of the essay that will contain the Stata commands used to obtain the results. The Appendix does not count towards the word limit.
