My topic is on “Panic Disorder and Memory Dysfunction”. This assignment’s focus is on how cognitive functioning (the neural mechanisms) is altered in people who suffer from panic disorder. However, the focus does not have to be specifically just on memory dysfunction, as long as panic disorder alters cognitive functioning in anyway – the specifics of how it affects (eg: depression affects neurotransmitters in our brains etc etc etc – the biology of it).
The focus of the assignment is the biological aspects of panic disorder and memory dysfunction – for example: research/theories on memory to justify its neurological dysfunction.
The main focus is the biological factors – in sum, a biological psychology paper.
Explain how cognitive functioning (the neural mechanisms) is altered in people who suffer from panic disorder.
