For this assignment you will be using the skills you learned to interpret and critique research studies and write a 5-8 page essay about the topic/disease you discussed in your case assignment.
Select at least one additional research article from the Touro Library that supports the topic you selected and discussed in your case assignment.
Assignment Guidelines:
Using the topic selected in your case assignment, discuss the similarities and differences between the two articles (Note: you will need to remind the reader about the first article in order to discuss the similarities/differences between the second article):
Regarding the disease you selected (e.g., what did the author(s) in the second article state that was similar and different from the first article)
Research methods used in the second article (was it quantitative, qualitative, mixed method approach? Is it different from the first article or the same?)
Explain how you know the type of method used
Explain the research design (was it Experiential, Quasi Experimental, Case Study?
Was it different from that in the first article or the same?)
What supportive evidence was used and how does it differ from the first article?
What are the ethical considerations for both articles regarding your topic?
Do they differ or are they the same?
Do you see any flaws in either of the articles regarding how the evidence was communicated to you or the public?
