Background: Data is increasingly the lifeblood of organizations. Decisions, patient outcomes, and many other important developments are informed by the use of data. We are fortunate to have a number of open sources and paid datasets available for our use.
Platforms Student Should Consider Using: R, Excel Pivot Tables, Tableau/Qlik, or other relevant data visualization tools.
Datasets to Consider: test database from class, HIMSS Analytics Logic, other publicly available data sets.
Presentation: 6-8 slides including 1. Statement of data source and relevant hypothesis 2. Review of Pivot Table. 3. Overview of data recoding methods/approach 4. Three analyses of your data file.
