This assignment requires you to produce an enhanced curriculum vitae, which contains statements with supporting evidence to demonstrate your emotional competencies and capabilities (personal, professional and social).

The statements and supporting evidence should include the following and they should be aligned  to the NMC four Domains (2010) emotional competencies to form the enhanced section of your curriculum vitae:

 

•          Formal education and training

•          Study events

•          Formal and informal activities

•          Personal and/or professional Interests

•          Career summary as appropriate (It should highlight your skills, knowledge base and attributes)

•          Employment history (Include who you worked for, when and in what role. Write about what you actually did in these roles).

•          Future nursing career aims

Competence aligned with the 4 Nursing and Midwifery Council Domains (2010):

  1. Professional values
  2. Communication and Interpersonal skills
  3. Nursing practice and decision- making

·         Leadership, Management and Team Working.

 
Submission Instructions:

This assignment is to be submitted electronically using Blackboard (Turnitin)

 

  1. This assignment must be submitted electronically before 2pm on the submission date
  2. To submit electronically you must upload your work to the e-submission area within the Blackboard module concerned. Click Submit> Browse (find the correct file to upload) Upload> Submit
  3. You can resubmit your work as many times as you like until the deadline. If you choose to resubmit, your earlier submission will be replaced, and you will NOT receive an Originality Report until 24 hours from when the submission was made.
  4. You will receive a digital receipt as proof of submission. This will be sent to your Bucks e-mail address; please keep this for reference.

  1. This assignment requires you to provide a 3000 words enhanced curriculum vitae with supporting evidence. These are statements with supporting evidence to demonstrate your previous life skills, and experiences addressing emotional competence.
  2. The word count can be +/- of 10%. Please remember to declare the word count on the front page
  3. This assignment will be assessed in accordance with the Level 6 marking grid.
  4. This assignment should be presented in an academic essay format, with a clear introduction, body, conclusion, use an appropriate formal academic style and avoiding contractions (e.g don’t, won’t, etc.) informal or spoken forms of language
  5. You must address all three Module learning outcomes.
  6. You are required to give examples from your previous life experiences, reflect on these applying your emotional competencies and identifying areas for further development for nursing career. Your statements must be aligned with the NMC 4 domains.
  7. You must attach your CV of past experiences as an appendix and make reference to this in your essay.
