My interests and goals related to international initiatives to reduce disparities and improving health overall all over the world. am surprised how in many parts of the world children live in poverty and lack the essential life savings vaccine. I would like to provide a way to distribute and vaccinate those in underserved communities through a mobile Vaccine clinic. Where access and money would not constitute a barrier. In addition, take the opportunity to educate communities on how to take on the initiative themselves so they can do the vaccination.
The short term goals would be working locally in a mobile vaccine setting and learn about the requirements, administration, needs, barriers so I can transfer this knowledge to other communities and adjust the initiative so it would be culturally and socially sensitive to each community. Long term I would like to eventually bring the idea or concept to places in the world where underserved and marginalized communities can benefit, prosper from it, and adapt it.
