Apply for a mechanical engineering course.
Experience wise, did a week worth of WEX at stagecoach where i learnt everything about buses, how they work, the common faults, how they’re repaired, test buses to make sure they’re road worthy etc…
Other then that, i’ve owned two cars and own one right now. But usually faulty cars at a reduced price and on my free time i look at them, assess whether to repair or fix and sometimes even create my own solutions. You can talk about how this proves my problem solving skills, time management and mixing college and my own personal life alongside my hobby. Also speak 4 languages and learning french, you can mention that and talk about how beneficial that can be too.
Very important to mention that at my college, the manchester college, where i’m currently doing an Extended diploma on engineering done two crucial maths units, calculus and further maths. You must mention this and talk how it’s the same at A level maths and it’s the same thing.
Skills wise you can talk about anything related to that and make up your own.
