How will the learning evaluation element of your plan contribute towards the success of your proposed learning and development programme?

• Prepare an L&D planfor a post-apprenticeship programme at Airbus UK (any apprenticeship programme/area within the UK, as described in that website);
• Note down information that might be relevant to carrying out a learning needs analysis.
• You are to devise an L&D plan (presented in a table)- for a new L&D programme at Airbus UK (assume you are part of the L&D/HRD/TD team).
o A structured 3 year programme as a follow-up to an existing apprenticeship scheme (of your choice, among Airbus’s offerings)
o Intended goals of the programme:
 retention of existing apprentices now finishing the apprenticeship;
 the strengthening of innovation competencies in the organisation/among this cohort.
• Revise your existing plan, and incorporate plans/steps for evaluation of learning. Consider:
o What levels need to be evaluated?
o Methods?
o Timings?
o Information to be collected?
o Purpose?
o Do existing plans for learning need to be amended in light of required evaluation?

Using your plan as a reference, please discuss:
a) How does your plan address the features of the context in question? (around 500 words)
b) How does your plan reflect your understanding of how people learn at work? (around 250 words)
c) How will the learning evaluation element of your plan contribute towards the success of your proposed learning and development programme? (around 250 words).
