Have you ever heard of the “7 x 7 rule”?

Have you ever heard of the “7 x 7 rule”? This simple rule for developing effective presentations means that there should be no more than seven (7) bullets per slide and seven (7) words per bullet.

For example, if I was preparing a presentation about how to develop an effective PowerPoint presentation, two of my bullets might be:

No more than seven bullets per slide

No more than seven words per bullet

See how that works? I did not exceed seven words on each of my first two bullets, and I could have up to seven bullets on any of my slides.

a. For this discussion, review the reading and background material and find one important tip that would help when you develop a PowerPoint presentation as a visual aid for public speaking.

b. Please share with us the importance of the tip you have chosen, and why it helps with the overall effectiveness of your visual aid. Please write as the professor is asking, I attached the required material, add references please. Please read order instructions since some of the questions didn’t fit in the topic line. Thank you.
