Craft a summary that you can use for your LinkedIn profile and cut and paste the text in the discussion board.

Focus on the following:

Your summary should be targeted to the career field in which you would like to be employed. Take a look at the examples posted in the Tips for Writing a Great LinkedIn Summary article. Be sure that your summary is original work; written in your own words.

Use keywords to get your profile noticed. For the purposes of this activity, bold the keywords you are using to get your profile noticed.

Spend extra time crafting the first part of your profile by focusing on the impact of the first 220 characters (around 30 words). For the purposes of this activity, italicize the first 220 characters (around 30 words).

The summary should be free of grammar, syntax, and spelling errors, so be sure to edit thoroughly.

Does the author strategically use of the first 220 characters?

Are the first 220 characters italicized?

Does the author effectively use keywords?

Are the keywords bolded?
