Explain the four strategies for organizing a persuasive speech and how and when you might use each pattern.

The essays will be evaluated on the quality of your writing as well as the quality of your thinking. Work to offer specific details to support and explain your point of view. Each essay must be between 400 and 500 words and must be typed and double-spaced.

Chapter 5: Imagine you have been asked to speak at a religious organization’s meeting comprised mainly of elderly members. Using the key elements of audience analysis, provide a through demographic and attitudinal audience analysis of this group.

Chapter 11: There are four basic methods of delivery from which a speaker can choose: manuscript speaking, memorized speaking, impromptu speaking and extemporaneous speaking.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each delivery method? For each method explain occasions when that method is the most appropriate approach. Lastly, for each method outline the steps that are required to ensure effective delivery.

Group 3 Essays Choose a third essay from the following:

Chapter 14:.In persuasive speaking, it is important to know exactly what you want to change or reinforce in listeners. Your text explores four goals of persuasive speaking; identify these goals and explanation and illustrate how each pertains to persuasive speaking.
