Guiding Questions: What rights, if any, did women have in divorce proceedings? What percentage of men and women were awarded custody of children? How did Enlightenment thinkers legal Rights , politicians, state government perceive and/or treat women? Did any women support “submission” to men? How did women fight for more rights?
