Chapter 2 discusses Culture and its societal influence on our everyday life. Culture includes not only language, ethnic cuisine, and clothing but also norms, values, laws, and technology.

The purpose of this assignment is to demonstrate your understanding of the sociological concept of culture and its application to a current social issue.  Listen to one of the following NPR programs. Post your journal by following the instructions below.
