History of Animation Research Project

The professor verbatim. The student is expected to submit a 10 page PDF or 10 page slideshow or 10 minute video presentation and the project must be proposed to instructor in typed format; before summiting the final presentation.

All projects must be approved by instructor. The research project content must include any of the following content or combination of content: Original paragraphs of research content written by you in your own words that is not a repetition of any of the course materials.

Original or referenced and linked/embedded animations or videos you create relative to course material and project subject matter.

Original 3-D objects you create relative to course subject matter. IMPORTANT NOTE: The research project must have direct relevance to the history of animation and be more than a repetition of the weekly course material.

My piece of advice for those who have no idea; do a BRIEF google search of history of animation from like 1920-1970. From anywhere, you want, even Neapolitan style, and maybe even some:

Contemporary Analog and Early Computer Animation. THEN, just take some free stock images, and gif/video clips, and edit them together; like a crappy YouTube video that is basically a slide show. That is not how you have to do it, you can make a presentation however you want, it is a suggestion. The only thing that cannot be variable is the paper/script.
