Completing Your Assignment

To prepare, you will need to (a) attend allotted lecture and seminar session in weeks 712; (2) revise materials in preparation.

Your Lecturer/Tutor will provide ‘revision’ sessions to assist in preparation for the examination.

You will be required to submit your work insession (i.e. to an examination invigilator) on completion of the 1hour session).

NOTE: Further details (to help students) will be discussed inclass in the approach to the examination, including examples of revision method, writing style, and referencing needs, along with routine discussions on materials and approaches in all classes Weeks 712.

In order to pass Assessment 2 you will need to:

Via a sat examination, the student will be expected to articulate accumulated knowledge from the Unit lectures and associative reading, drawing on debates and analysis, to produce clear and reasoned written response to a chosen, preset (unseen) question.

Additionally, illustrate an understanding of the sociological, political and ideological, economic and cultural aspects of the unit (in its chronological, sociohistorical context) via such written response.

Present written information and argument in a logical form, using concepts accurately and following standard rules of grammar, punctuation, spelling and referencing
