For the next three assignments, you will be envisioning yourself working for a company that sells a good or service. This company can be a real company or one you have made up. Try to think of a company you would know something about. You can channel a job you ve already had or one you currently work at.
For this brief memo, discuss what your business does. Here are some questions to answer:
1. What product or service does your business offer?
2. What are some challenges your business currently faces?
3. What do you think are the most positive selling points of your business?
4. How many people are employed by your business?
5. Where is your business located?
Answer these questions, and you ll have a stage from which to launch your good news and bad news communications.
