Use your own experience with sexual education in school and/or at home to answer the following questions: growing up, who or what was your most informative source of sex education?
Was it your parents, friends, role models, or teachers? Or was it the internet and educational videos?
What kinds of conversations, if any, did you have with your parent(s) or guardian(s) regarding sexual health?
If you did not have a conversation with them, would you have wanted to? Why or why not?
Do you believe that parents have an obligation to educate their children in sexual health, or should that primarily be the responsibility of schools?
If you gained information from your peers, do you believe this information was reliable? Should sex education requirements be imposed on public schools?
What about private schools? If so, at what age(s) should it be taught? How would this education change when addressing different age groups?
