Choose at least one work from each of the lessons (3 to 7) leading up to the midterm and create an exhibition of 5 to 7 works that illustrate that theme.

You are the curator of a small online exhibition.

This paper will consist of a virtual exhibition. You will create an exhibition of 5 to 7 works that illustrate that theme. You must choose at least one work from each of the lessons (3 to 7) leading up to the midterm.

The works can be anything found on Visual Note-Taking Guides or the ARTstor sets EXCEPT comparisons that come from different periods or cultures. You don’t need to include anything from Lesson 2, since it was a “catching up” lesson. IMAGES TO BE USED FOR PAPER ARE INCLUDED IN THE ATTACHED DOCUMENT. THE THEME IS “THE VIRGIN MARY”.

This paper will consist of an introduction (tell us about your theme, and how you are tracing that theme through these works), a minimum of one paragraph per work (explain how each one relates to the major theme, why you chose it, what it can tell us about its particular time period/culture/context, its meaning/function, and its intended audience).

Finish with a brief conclusion that ties everything together.
