The goal of this assignment is for you to become acquainted with bills introduced for the current California legislative session that impact public health.
You may also choose a current federal bill. As a result of your research, you will submit a 3-5 page paper.
The 3-5 page paper should be formatted according to APA (7th ed.) and include:
A link to and a summary of the bill
The population groups that will be impacted by the bill, and the position of a professional public health or healthcare organization/association that has critiqued the bill
An ethical critique of the bill based on relevant bioethical principles and the public health code of ethics.
Note, this includes any changes you would make to the bill based on the ethical critique
