Critical analysis of SEND/inclusion policies from at least one setting
Analyse the SEND/inclusion policies from your own school (POLICY NO. 1) and your placement setting (POLICY NO. 2) to compare the language used and the approaches taken to the management of SEND and inclusion issues across the settings. Write a short summary (550 words) outlining the new insights have you gained from your policy analysis into the approaches needed to address complex issues in inclusive settings.
You need to include reference to:
The similarities and differences between the policies and each school’s implementation of SEND practice (where applicable)
The ethos of the school towards SEND/inclusion as communicated in the policy documents, based on your word cloud task and other analysis (include a screen shot of the word clouds you created)
A summary of the strengths of your own SEND/Inclusion policy,
An overview of the areas for development / amendments you would like to make to your own school policy
