Requires you to develop a single focused review question on an aspect of nursing practice with which you are regularly involved.

Describe the search strategy you used to locate 7 to 10 primary research articles that will help you answer your review question.

Through systematic scrutiny of your review primary research articles you will identify themes across your 7 to10 primary research articles.

Initially you may locate 5 to 8 key themes across your review articles. You will summarise and evaluate these themes.

Choose 2 or a maximum of 3 of these themes to discuss in detail in relation to your review question. You will need to provide a rationale for your choice of themes.

Use your 2 or 3 themes as headings for your discussion of these themes in relation to your review question.

Discuss your themes across your chosen review articles and in relation to other published evidence.

Provide a summary of your thematic findings in relation to your review question.

Discuss the implications of your thematic findings for practice including discussion of possible research for the future.

Close your review with a brief conclusion highlighting your key review findings.
