Social class and parental (specifically mothers’) involvement in their children’s education and the relation of these to the children’s academic outcome/success

This is a pilot study assignment that is researching the topic described above. The study’s aim is to find out why some children do better than other at school given the fact that for this research are taken two same sex children- girls, same class- year 2, 7 years old, girls of colour with similar background (one is with origin from Gambia and one mixed race Portugese and Jamaican) and working class.
