Present the results of your scholarly and popular research “public” to your classmates by presenting your findings on rural to urban migration.

Topic: Rural to Urban Migration

For your final assignment, you will make the results of your scholarly and popular research “public” to your classmates by presenting your findings. You will “present” the results of independent research project to the class (as a 3-5 minute video on Flipgrid).

Then, you will provide peer feedback on the work of two of your fellow students. The assignment is worth 10% of the course grade.

1. Post a video to Flipgrid. Create a Flipgrid for our class, which is a site that allows you to post videos for your classmates to see (you used this at the beginning of the semester for your welcome videos).

With Flipgrid, you can either create a video from within their video creator/editor (it has a lot of similar features to Instagram and Snapchat) or you can upload a video you created elsewhere (like on your phone, in iMovie, or a PowerPoint with voiceover).

2. Give your video a title on Flip grid that gives your classmates an idea what your topic is about.

Required Components:

1. Tell us your research topic.

What have you been studying?

In addition, discuss at least one of the following:

Why you chose this topic

Why you think this subject is significant or important for people to understand

If and how your research topic changed over time and why
