ASSIGNMENT: In our roles as social workers interacting with clients who take medications, we have to understand the role of medication in their lives. Much of your reading focuses on the client’s feelings about medication.
Your assignment this week is to look at the seven themes that involve medication (pages 184-191).
Select two of these themes and summarize them. The author gives you examples of pictures that represent interpretations of these themes.
Think about the themes that you selected and give an example of how your client may express this theme. It could be the words they say or actions they describe.
Finally, explain the benefit to you of the knowledge that you have acquired from reading Chapters 5-10.
