Descriptive analysis essay

Think about something that you’ve already learned to do well. The thing that you do well can be either an academic subject or some kind of skill or hobby and the focus of the essay should be how, specifically, you became good at this particular thing.

What we’re doing here is writing a descriptive process analysis essay (remember, purposes can be mixed) of at least 1200 words in MLA formatting. A process analysis essay requires you to break down something into individual steps and examine each one.

You count and describe some actions–from small to bigger ones–like trying to solve homework problems without looking at the answers at the back of the book to tutoring younger children.

Whether you learned a new subject, a hobby, gained a new skill, or just enhanced the ones you already have.
