Qualitative Research report – Experiences of mental disorder

Word count 3,000.

Assignment Topic

Choose one of the following research titles:

Experiences of Mental Disorder.

For this assessment, you need to write a full Qualitative Research. You may use any of the work you have produced so far in the module such as the draft qualitative analysis (IPA) or the draft literature review.

You will also need to complete an analysis for two conversations from your chosen topic – you are able to use the two Listening Project recordings that you previously transcribed and coded during Lecture cast 3, or you can choose to use one of the alternative topics and recordings provided.

Analyze both conversations using IPA ( ”Interpretative phenomenological analysis” ) and use the same analysis for all the data. In the Methods, it is important to state that you analyzed pre-recorded conversations and the source of these (https://sounds.bl.uk/Oral-history/The-Listening-Project).

For details on the consent of participants in the Listening Project see the Listening Project website.

Include the literature review that you previously submitted for formative feedback within this assignment and you will be marked on all sections, as well as the structure and presentation of the entire report.

The total word count is 3,000 words. In addition, the word counts for the different sections are advisory, so if you do not meet these you will not be penalized.

However, use these as a guide, and do not exceed the total word stated above.

The topic chosen is ”Experiences of Mental disorder” , and here is the Link to the recordings that ought to be analyzed:
