Sociology in Action Project and Presentation
Research Paper
Students will partner in groups of 3 and study a daily situation of the everyday life, a social phenomenon or a social fact.
Students apply their sociological knowledge and methods to their research study ie: socialization in a Starbucs café, religious service, sport event, etc.
Student will produce their raw data (ie poster that gather ethnographic data, photos, fieldnotes,) and apply a thematic analysis.
They finally will present their research finding to the class in a power point format.
