SCI1010 Assignment 19

We discussed CERCLA, aka the superfund act in class when we discussed groundwater pollution and hazardous waste. Rhode Island has 12 superfund sites that have been added to the national priorities list, according to the USEPA website.

For this assignment, you are going to do some research. You will all be assigned one of these sites to look into a little bit further by me during class. You need to be in class to receive your particular site assignment. You will answer questions about the site based on the information and reports provided on the individual website for that particular site.

This assignment will be graded on how well you answer the questions asked. In this particular case, questions should be answered in complete sentences. You are allowed to work in groups but all group members must submit a copy of the assignment.
