Topic: PRESENTATIONS: Research Paper

As a part of your final assignments for this course, you are recording a short presentation (4-6 minutes) on your Research Paper.
Your presentation should provide an overview of each of the sections of the research paper and should be delivered conversationally, rather than reading off anything. You are merely talking about what you wrote about.

Your presentation should provide an overview of:
(1) The research question you sought to answer

(2) An overview of the literature, or four academic articles, you researched – the goal is to communicate to your audience what current researchers are most interested in and saying regarding this aspect of the pipeline (use your introduction as a guide – you’ll want to go a little more in-depth than this, however).

(3) Your stance – this includes both your argument indicated in your introduction along with a summary of your discussion section communicating what ideas (don’t just name names we don’t know – frame it as ideas) you agree with/disagree with/are of two minds about.

(4) Why this issue is significant, the implications, what’s to gain/at stake etc.

Watch and respond to a minimum of three classmates for the full points. In your response mention specific moments in their video where they discuss the findings/claims/ surrounding research.

Your comment should be thoughtful and meaningful and indicate that you actually watched the video.
