Aspects of Belonging Paper
Imagine you have been hired to run the Christian Ministries for the children in your church. How might your disposition and practices aim toward the aspects of “belonging” mentioned in Chapter 4 of your text (Larson and Keeley)?
What steps might you take to become known as a place where every child is invited, present, loved, welcomed, accepted, care for, known, supported, befriended, loved and needed?
Compose a short paper (at least two pages) where you describe some of the strategies which could be used to promote belonging for children with disabilities.
Ideally, include reference to some innovative programs you find through some internet research.
This reflection should be two pages in length, double spaced and 12 pt font. Add at least one additional source for support (a Web-based resource is fine) and use APA formatting for citing and references.
