Pop Culture Paper 2
Relate a sociological concept to some form of popular culture. Use the mediums music, movies, television shows, or books (no reality shows). You are to take a concept we will discuss this semester such as socialization, gender, etc. and relate it to a specific song, movie, book or a single episode of a television show. You decide on the media form and the sociological topic to which it relates.
Make sure to give a good description of the form of media. If it is a song, write or print out the lyrics. If it is a movie, book, or an episode of a television show, give a description so that one can understand the topic and thus, the relevance. Make sure to credit the artist(s) in some form.
Give a short description of the sociological concept and then proceed to explain its association with the form of culture you have chosen. Be sure to use sociological terms.
