Write a topic sentence announces the topic of the paragraph and, possibly, connects it to the overall argument statement.
Using notes on your source grid:
organize an explanation of the topic
support your explanation with examples, evidence, or reasoning
refer to the authors of your sources; your purpose to collect and connect what others have said
even if you are unsure about -A FA format
End the paragraph with a sentence or two that connects the subtopic back to your argument and communicates the significance.
