The podcast author tried to solve and figure out a case so winded up and twisted that everyone could be lying, here was a story of a man named Adnan styles convicted for the murder of hae min lee in 1999 she murdered. Who killed hae win lee and why did they do that and why did Sarah Koeing have such a genuine, warming, deep, very absorbed with the evidence she collected throughout the book, Sarah Koeing solved the mystery of who killed hae min lee in 1999 on her podcast and allowed millions of people to listen to this story. Sarah argued that the state didn’t enough have enough evidence to convict Adnan of the murder of hae with word choice, tone, and ethos
The way Sarah Koeing uses tone in the serial is the word choice of how real it sounds to the people of the story and menacing on how sorrowful it is throughout the whole podcast.
The dead body was found in leakin park supports the word choice she uses she expresses that the body was only 127 feet from the main part of the park and the body was only 6 inches deep buried in the woods of leakin park
Sarah uses her word choice to hold information back from the audience to build suspense and hook the people to bring their attention
episode 10 it states that the prosecutor uses the word choice of ¨besmirched¨ which states that they are destroying the reputation of Aiden from the opinions of others and taking adnan words and throwing it in the trash. the way Sarah Koeing uses ethos in the story of the podcast by interviewing only people who were close to adnan to show his innocents and how Sarah thinks adnan is innocent throughout the story. She used strategy to portray Adnan’s character to the millions of people who have listened to the podcast on Adnan’s case. She used ethos in her story by hiring detective Jim Trainum to help look into Adnan’s case it convinces the audience that the speaker is reliable.
