Create two new layers named Cutting Plane and Hatch Pattern. Set the linetype for the Cutting Plane layer to DashedX2 and set the lineweight to .60mm.

Chapter 8 Projects Project 8.1 -The Tool Holder Directions:

Create two new layers named Cutting Plane and Hatch Pattern.

Set the linetype for the Cutting Plane layer to DashedX2 and set the lineweight to .60mm.

Set the linetype for the Hatch Pattern layer to Continuous and the lineweight to Default. Use the ANSI31 hatch pattern to draw the section lines.

Save the .dwg file and generate the .pdf drawing.

When you are finished, this drawing file and pdf file will contain the dimensioned multi-views (Top, Side, and Full-section view) and the isometric drawing of the Tool Holder.

NOTE: The lines and hatching of the Tool Holder project is added to in Model space. Left-click on the Model tab in the lower-left corner of the screen if it is not already activated.
