Currently, the roles of states have reduced as a result of sharing roles in security, political as well as social roles with international NGOs. As a result, the number of Non-Governmental Organizations has increased rapidly increasing their global prominence as well.

Also, NGO delivers human development support which may make the current trend different in the future. This paper looks at the increasing role of NGOs in twenty first-century diplomacy, I will focus on the introduction of NGOs, functions, and definition of NGOs as well as their role and practice in international relations.
