Address the validity of using solitary confinement as a remedy to reduce prison violence, inmate punishment, and inmate protection.

Provide policies and analysis of those policies which exist to protect the prisoner from the ramifications of solitary confinement and provide a basis for the usage of solitary confinement. You will need to provide statistical data to provide evidence for your thesis.

-Between 10-15 pages in length (not including title, references, tables, or figures).

-Double-spaced, with 1.0 inch margins, in Times New Roman, 12-point font.
-APA format in terms of academic writing style and referencing/citation criteria.
-Papers should be analytical and must include scholarly research.

-Must draw from a minimum of 10 sources, which must be cited correctly in the text and be documented correctly on the reference page. Of the total works cited, at least five should be articles from academic journals or books published by an academic press. Works cited and the references must be in APA format.
