Hotels are often classified according to the hotel size, location, target markets, levels of service, facilities provided, number of rooms, ownership, and affiliation, to name a few. As future sales managers, it is important to know each classification because the guest level of expectations is often aligned with the type of hotel. Below is a link of hotel classifications that I would like for you to look at as well as the lecture and your reading.
