Pharmacology and Drug Discovery

As part of the Advanced Drug Discovery, Pharmacology and Toxicology module, you will undertake a piece of coursework this semester. This is a conference report, worth 25% of the module marks.

The report will consist of approximately 3 sides of A4 (approx. 2000 words) summarising talks either from an online, hybrid or live scientific conference or webinars from anywhere around the world.

Summarise and discuss the topics of 5- 6 talks and bring them under a theme (as if you were attending a conference where they had all spoken) BUT the theme can be broad eg “Life Sciences” or narrow eg “Breast cancer”.
