Reflection Journal
James 1:22 says, “Do not merely listen to the word and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” It is not enough to simply study principles of worship; you must also put them into practice. The purpose of this assignment is to recall and rehearse the biblical foundations of worship and discuss how they can be utilized in every aspect of life.
Write a two-part reflection journal. In Part 1, you will write a summary of the foundational principles of worship discussed over the past two weeks.
Your summary should cover the main points found in the video presentations and texts. Your summary should be at least 2 pages in length.
In Part 2, you will write a reflection of the worship principles to your present-day activities and circumstances. Your reflection should be at least 1 page in length.
Your writing should try to answer the following questions:
What do these concepts teach you about God?
What do these concepts reveal about you?
How will you apply this information within your relationships, career, and ministry?
