ASSIGNMENT

You are a structural engineer who has been asked to design and analyze a structure to support a weight across a 600 mm wide chasm.

You need to show how strong your design is by analytical method.

You also have to verify your results by means of a software Skyciv/SOUDWORKS/ANSYS.

You are allowed to use wood as a structural material. The required properties of the wood are given below in the table 1.
