Self-Assessments Assignment

For the majority of modules students will complete a self-assessment related to the module topic. The self-assessment will provide insight into your level of well-being and will provide you with practice in utilizing the assessment tool.

Once you complete the self-assessment, answer the following questions:

1. What is the outcome of your sleep assessment? What do your results tell you about your sleep quality? What the results tell you regarding your sleep hygiene?

2. Based on your results, what behavioral and/or environmental lifestyle changes do you believe you should make that would improve the quality/quantity of your sleep?

3. Based on the information learned in this module AND the results of your assessments, what SMART FITT goal will you set for yourself (i.e., Specific, Measureable, Action-oriented, Realistic, Time-sensitive AND Frequency, Intensity, Time Type) for yourself for the sleep hygiene lifestyle behavior that you would like to change. Within the statement, indicate which part of the statement reflects the SMART criteria described above. (1 statement)

4. Describe aspects of the goal you believe you lack confidence. Applying MOSS principles (i.e., Motivation, Obstacles, Strategies, Strengths) a) why are you motivated to achieve this goal;

b) what obstacles are you likely to encounter;

c) what strategies can you use to overcome these obstacles; and

d) what strengths can you draw upon as you work toward your goal?
