Data Analysis and communicating Insights
You are required to develop a research paper that addresses the top management’s concern about consumer reactions to product recalls due to safety reasons. As shown in the data set: GPR.sav along with the survey questionnaire, there are a number of variables that can be considered.
You task is to choose the variables of interest and conduct the following types of data analyses:
1) Descriptive analysis on the background of product safety incidents, the major sources of incident information, as well as the baseline information of the sample;
2) Appropriate mean difference analyses using independent sample t-test, paired sample t-test, and ANOVA analysis; and
3) A multiple regression analysis on the variables of your interest. Brief justification and hypothesis statements are expected for each type of the inferential statistical methods.
